Competition is absent for technical reasons since, to the best our knowledge, Maxar’s MGP Pro is the only online platform that: a) includes satellite imagery with a native spatial resolution equal or better than 50cm with more than 16 years of historical multispectral imagery; b) offers access to imagery acquired by GeoEye, WorldView-1, WorldView-2, WorldView-3 and decommissioned satellites like QuickBird, Ikonos or WorldView-4; c) offers satellite imagery collected by the WoldView Legion constellation of satellites, which consists of six satellites with different orbits (only 2 of them in orbit at this stage); d) offers the WV-3 sensor, with eight unique very high resolution SWIR bands that can provide additional information about the presence of e.g. polymers, camouflage, man-made heat sources (i.e.: detection of migrant makeshift camps), wildfires,…etc; and e) delivers newly collected imagery within 24 hours or less.
