The suite/system should be able to operate as a single enabling platform, e.g. running on a shared control software, in opposition to individual devices to be used for separate experiments in separate laboratories which could potentially reveal mutual incompatibilities under specific circumstances. The Quantum Electronic Suite will consist of: 1) A Signal and Spectrum Analyser with frequency range (at least) from 10 Hz to 30 GHz; 2) A channel Digital Oscilloscope, (at least four), with (at least) a 6 GHz bandwidth; 3) Am Arbitrary Signal Generator with frequency range (at least) from 8 kHz to 6 GHz with ultra-low phase noise; 4) An RF Source (upconvertor) with frequency range from (at least) 1 MHz to 12 GHz; 5) An associated Vector Network Analyser with at least four ports, and frequency range from (at least) 100 kHz to 26.5 GHz.
