Title : Equipment for data acquisition in the field - waste collection
Description : This document presents a market survey (RFI) initiated by the Agency for Sanitation and Recycling in Oslo (REG). The survey is a part of a larger project to modernise REG ́s ICT core systems and improve the data capture in connection with waste collection. Oslo municipality has ambitious targets for climate and environment, including being a zero emission city and being a leader in waste prevention and material recovery. In order to achieve these targets, REG must optimise its operation through increased and improved data acquisition. The main objective of this market survey is to obtain information from suppliers about possible technical systems for data acquisition in the field. The aim is to identify innovative and efficient systems that can replace or supplement the current manual data entry and that can be integrated with REG's new customer and operation system. Through this survey, REG wants to provide a solid basis for the coming procurement of equipment for data capture, and thereby ensure that the agency can realise its ambitions for a data driven, customer orientated and efficient waste collection.
