The County Municipality is responsible for, among other things, regional development, sixth form college education, county roads and public transport, including school transport, public dental health service, cultural memorial protection, county library, outdoor life, distribution of betting funds and support for businesses. Main features of the procedure : The aim of this framework agreement is to cover the Contracting Authority's need for office and school furnishing. The framework agreement shall also cover the delivery, assembly, moving, guarantees and repairs of the goods delivered, disassembly/assembly and moving of existing furniture and office/school furnishing, and advice connected to better room utilisation and reuse of older office/school furnishing, furniture and fixtures that the Contracting Authority owns from previously. The framework agreement will be valid for 2 years, calculated from the date the contract is signed. The contracting authority has the possibility to extend the framework agreements for up to 2 years, one year at a time. The maximum contract length is 4 years. The estimated scope of the agreement will be NOK 15 million per annum for TFK, with a maximum framework of NOK 75 million for the contract period in order to safeguard any major projects. The contracting authority would like to point out great uncertainty connected to the value of the framework agreement. Political guidelines can change the extent of development/renovation projects in the short and long term. Tenderers must therefore be aware that the use of the contract can be considerably less than the limit.
