The objective is to enhance the visibility of recruitment opportunities and increase the application pool for these categories, while ensuring the advertisement campaigns align with Defence Forces’ recruitment objectives, branding guidelines, and diversity strategies. The Defence Forces has identified that there is a gap in knowledge amongst the public regarding the range of careers available in the DF and this is very evident amongst females in the 18-39 age bracket (Fleishman Hillard, 2024). The aim of these advertising campaigns would be to bridge this knowledge gap amongst all potential inductees (18-39 year olds) and their significant influences (parents, partners, siblings, friends, career guidance teachers etc.).
