They must be easily transportable to recovery locations. The cradle must be capable of operating in multi-axle recovery scenarios, supporting 2-3 axles on the same bogie. Deliverables also include a first-in class inspection and testing at IÉ site and on-site training for 20 personnel. The supplier must provide certification for use and support Irish Rail in the approval and implementation process.
