Title : Immersive space control system with touch functionality
Description : Oulu University of Applied Sciences Ltd (hereinafter referred to as the Orderer) is implementing digital development and testing environments utilizing immersion, gamification, and simulation for its operations. The aim is to create environments capable of producing multisensory experiences and scenarios, thereby increasing authenticity and social presence. The environment must support digital development and testing activities conducted remotely, as well as the development of expertise related to the design, implementation, and use of new technologies in the social and healthcare sector. The users include the staff and students of Oulu University of Applied Sciences Ltd, as well as regional working life partners and SMEs. The Orderer will implement two (2) immersive spaces, for which the Orderer will procure from the selected Supplier: - an immersion control system, - accessories; please note tablets will be procured from the Orderer’s contract supplier, for two (2) immersive spaces), - immersive touch interaction designed and delivered for two (2) immersive spaces featuring immersive installations (including planning, equipment, accessories, delivery and maintenance). - delivery and user training. Detailed description of the procurement and minimum requirements are described in Annex 1. Description of the procurement and Annex 2. Minimum requirements specification. Delivery time: Delivery begins immediately after the signing of the contract. The goal is to have a functional environment and its implementation ready at the turn of January and February 2026. The Orderer will provide the presentation technology equipment (AV technology equipment) as well as the physical space elements and structures from its own contract suppliers. Construction planning and implementation has already begun. The procurement is co-funded by the Council of Oulu Region (European Regional Development Fund, ERDF), MetaHealth Infra project (A81128). Value of the procurement: The estimated total value of the procurement is 150 000 to 230 000, including of estimated annual license and maintenance costs ranging from 10 000 to 25 000 and possible additions and improvements to the system in the future. Contract period: The Contract is valid for a period of two (2) years ("Initial contract period"). After this, the Contract continues to be valid until further notice, unless the Contract has been terminated six (6) months before the end of the Initial Contract Period. The Orderer has the right to terminate the Contract, which is valid for the time being, with a notice period of three (3) months, and the Supplier with a notice period of twelve (12) months.
