Title : Provision of consultancy services to assist Principal Investigators and researchers in Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions applications
Description : The Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions fund excellent research and innovation and equip researchers at all stages of their career with new knowledge and skills, through mobility across borders and exposure to different sectors and disciplines. The MSCA help build Europe’s capacity for research and innovation by investing in the long-term careers of excellent researchers. The MSCA also fund the development of excellent doctoral and postdoctoral training programmes and collaborative research projects worldwide. By doing so, they achieve a structuring impact on higher education institutions, research centres and non-academic organisations. Maynooth University is actively participating in 14 MSCA projects. In line with the Maynooth University Strategic Plan 2023-2028, Maynooth University will position itself as a globally recognised leader in research excellence. We believe that the Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions plays an important role in this ambition. Consultancy services are required to work with Principal investigators/researchers from across our three (3) Faculties of Social Science; Arts and Humanities and Science and Engineering to develop competitive research proposals for submission to Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions calls within Horizon Europe. Tasks include review of draft proposals, feedback on aspects for development, integration of feedback into revised proposals, and research grant-writing training, webinars and masterclasses. Suppliers will be required to work directly with Principal Investigators to: - Assist the researchers to produce the research proposals (across MSCA Doctoral Networks; MSCA Staff Exchanges; MSCA Postdoctoral Fellowships; and MSCA Cofund). - Provide timely, iterative feedback on proposals over the course of their development and up to submission deadline - Feedback may be provided via virtual feedback meetings (conference calls) and in written feedback. - Provide grant writing webinars and masterclasses specifically on MSCA Doctoral Networks, MSCA Postdoctoral Fellowships and Staff Exchange funding calls. These should be provided as a virtual and in house (in-person) options.
