Description
:
This public procurement competition relates to the Recruitment and Placement Services for the National Paediatric Hospital Development Board. In June 2020 the Board awarded the Contract to Yala Consult Limited T/A Rent A Recruiter over a period of 60 months. The contract is due to expire in June 2025 and due to the unanticipated prolongation of the project, the Board is of the view it is justified in relying on the provisions of Article 72(1)(b) as it would not be possible to secure an alternative provider of the Recruitment and Placement services at this stage of the project without causing extensive disruption to the existing Recruitment and Placement Services and expose the project to a significant degree of risk while an alternative provider is secured.

Description of modifications
:
The Board requires for continuity an extension to the contract that reflects the extended construction and substantial completion timeline including the defects liability period for the project to avoid significant technical and economic inconvenience and disruption to the existing Recruitment and Placement Services. The estimated additional fees to extend the Contract until post completion of the New Children’s Hospital would be below the 50% limit specified in Regulation 72(1)(b
