Description : The lowest total price will give the maximum score (100 points). Other tenderers will be awarded points in accordance with the following formula: The evaluation of the price will occur according to a linear method. This means that differences in points scores reflect the percentage difference in price from the lowest tender. The method has the following formula: Score= 10-10x (Pe-Pb)/Pb. Pe is the price that is evaluated and Pb is the best (lowest) price. If one or more of the tenders in the competition have a 75% higher price than the lowest offered, the price will be evaluated by hybrid method. Hybrid method is linear up to a break point at 2.5 points where the calculation turns into relative. The relative method means that the difference in points is less the higher the price differences are and have the following formula: Score = 10xPb/Pe where Pe is the price that is evaluated and Pb is the best (lowest) price. Tactical pricing Tactically priced tenders which mean that the tenders are not comparable will be rejected.
