Justification for direct procurement There is a basis for direct procurement as: Technical dependency to the existing Fujinon/Fuji system delivered by Mediq • Need for seamless integration with existing bronchoscopy and EBUS equipment • Securing continuity and compatibility in patient pathways, including package progress for cancer. • Competence and training have already been established in the system. • Delivery from another supplier will mean that it is not possible to continue the existing system as mentioned above. This will therefore require a complete replacement of the remaining system and new training courses, with considerable additional cost and risk. This is not considered a reasonable alternative for the health company. The procurement will be carried out as a direct procurement in accordance with the procurement regulations § 13-4 first section, letter b, no. 2. The equipment to be purchased must be from Fujinon/Fuji in order to function with the existing system from Fujinon/Fuji. The competition is therefore "impossible for technical reasons" as this applies to equipment that only Mediq can deliver. Delivery of the mentioned equipment from another supplier than Mediq will mean that it is not possible to continue the existing system as mentioned above. This will require a complete replacement of the remaining system. Therefore there are no reasonable alternatives and the terms in accordance with § 13-4 first section letter b, no. 2 are fulfilled.
