Value of all contracts awarded in this notice : 495 000 Euro
Direct award :
Justification for direct award : The contract can be provided only by a particular economic operator because of an absence of competition for technical reasons
Other justification : Background Geospatial Technology and Data is cross organizational and growing in TII. The GIS Strategy pillars are; Standards, Organization, Technology & Data, Strategic Processes and Innovation. For Technology, ESRI is the driving force and used in multiple directorates in TII across the organization for Roads, Greenways, Luas and Metrolink projects. ESRI provides software to TII for Desktop, Web and Mobile applications usage. There is a requirement for a large volume of user licences across the organization for AGOL (ArcGIS Online) and ArcGIS Enterprise platforms, using the technology to manage a variety of workstreams through Webmap applications, dashboards etc. The user licence requirements for TII (including Metrolink) are growing rapidly. Recently, TII has gone fully cloud for all ESRI technology, and require ESRI Ireland to provide managed services on an Azure platform, along with SaaS (Software as a Service). Without an ELA renewal before July 30th, TII will not have access to ESRI ArcGIS Technology or licences. ESRI Ireland have the sole distribution rights for the ESRI ArcGIS platform on the island of Ireland. Description An Esri Enterprise License Agreement (ELA) is a multiyear contract that simplifies the procurement and management of Esri’s GIS software, ArcGIS. Here are some key benefits it provides: 1. Cost Savings: By consolidating software purchases into a single agreement, organisations can reduce overall costs and optimise technology spending. 2. Simplified License Management: An ELA centralises and simplifies the management of GIS software licenses, reducing administrative overhead. 3. Flexibility and Scalability: ELAs offer the flexibility to scale GIS capabilities according to organisational needs, supporting growth and expansion. 4. Predictable Budgeting: Fixed annual payments make budget planning easier and more predictable. 5. Advantage Program - An Esri advisor works closely with your team through key meetings and regular communication. Our advisors bring industry and GIS expertise, skilful collaboration, and a direct connection to the latest Esri resources. 6. Access to Latest Technology: Organisations benefit from the latest software releases, pre-configured solutions, and extensive data resources.
