Request for information (RFI) - Hardware self-service ticket sales.
In this RFI, (request for information) we request information from potential tenderers in the market. The RFI is announced via TED and Doffin. The information received in this connection will be used as a guide in the implementation of a possible subsequent contest on the procurement of a system for self-service ticket sales.
Entur would like to procure a new system for unmanned sale of tickets/proof of travel in the company. The new system must cover the current and future functional and technical needs within ticketing/proof of travel, payment, and universal design.
Entur currently covers its need through the placement of 218 ticket vending machines (TVM) at 123 train stations nationwide. We must offer our customers an alternative to the mobile app and web, as well as support future systems for travel rights. These are not always connected to one 'ticket', but rather to the right to travel in a given area, or a right to travel until you as the passenger end it. It will be important here to support the current ticketing formats (paper, QR, travel card), as well as new formats that support account based proof of travel.
Current and future public requirements for universal design and payment systems must be be supported by new hardware systems.
