It is envisaged this new FMS will incorporate a flexibility auction management capability to provide a platform available for all flexibility service providers, once qualified, to bid in for long term auctions (the auctions will run at varying frequencies for various locations). The FMS will be scalable and configurable to help address all challenges (including but not limited to increased numbers of contracts, new flexibility products, new flexibility market rules and settlement calculations).
