Regulation 153 (b) (ii) of the Public Procurement Regulations A tender was issued for a new system and cancelled as per below. This Negotiated Procedure is being requested for technical reasons as the current equipment can only be used with specific brand and type. • CPSU 0518/23, On 9th October 2023, the file was sent to DOC. • On 9th November 2023, DOC informed us of issues encountered during vetting. • In December 2023, a meeting with Amanda Bugeja addressed important points needing correction for this tender. • From January to March, the tender underwent further checking at DOC. • On 30th April 2024, Vella-Lethridge Alicia from the Department of Contracts informed us of queries on this tender that needed adjustment. • CT2273/2024 was cancelled during publication stage due several clarifications received • April 2025 CT2127/2025 was amended from fresh with several missing documents that were missing from the previous call • CT2127/2025 is currently in the vetting stage at DOC last stage before publishing for the 2nd time
