Lo University Hospital intends to enter into a contract with Terumo (Vingmed) for the delivery of Woven EndoBridge (WEB) device for the treatment of intracranial aneurysmations with a broad throat. OUS has assessed the WEB against other "intrasaccular flow diverters" on the market and concluded that the WEB has the longest experience and best documentation of safety, treatment results and long-term follow-up. These criteria would have been set as absolute minimum requirements in an open competition, and would in practice lead to the same supplier choice. Out of regard to patient safety and availability, this notice of intent is therefore published. The terms in the procurement regulations § 13-4 letter b) no. 2 are deemed fulfilled.
