Main features of the procedure : Trondheim municipality is planning investments in a joint SCADA system that replaces the existing three SCADA systems. The objective of the project is: Simple data sharing and increased data availability: Ability to share data across the organisation to improve collaboration and increase our data analysis and decision making capabilities. Modernised functions and new needs: We will benefit from modern functions such as responsive display technology, modern navigation, auto-generation of process images, calculation functions etc. Increased independence: A SCADA operational model in which the municipality becomes more independent so that several parties can perform adaptations in the systems Improved data security and simpler upgrades: With one joint system, security updates and maintenance can be handled more efficiently, and we will achieve a higher degree of data security. Reduced costs: One joint system will give us lower licences, service costs and internal training costs The project ́s plan for realising the objectives is through the procurement of: Delivery of what is mainly a modernised SCADA application of the current three systems, as well as reprogramming all out stations.
