Hankinnan kohteen on laattasillan lävistyskestävyys, vaihe 2, joka tehdään suorahankintana Tampereen Yliopistolta. Tutkimuksessa pyritään selvittämään tyypillisen teräsbetonisen laattasillan leikkaus- ja lävistymiskäyttäytymistä tukialueella, tavoitteena hyödyntää uusimpia teorioita ja mitoitusmalleja sekä suunnittelun että kantavuuslaskennan pohjana.
